On both the appleTV and iOS apps, I can either look at about fifty “top picks” or do a search for something. Search g for “Rembrandt” comes up with a lot of hits… good… but there’s really NO browse feature, is there? I mean, as someone who is somewhat illiterate about the long history of Dutch art, but would like to dip a toe in… this app is useless. I want an endless gallery on my TV, but instead I guess if I go to Wikipedia first to look up some search terms, I might be able to find something to look at? Mysterious.
