Fresh puzzles, beautiful aesthetics, mix of new and old characters, different layout compared to the last few big games, and no mini-games! With Venice, I’d wondered if the gold standard for cute escape games was out of new tricks, and Maldives reassured me there are still new ideas. The game has two main levels plus an extensive bonus level, so there’s a lot to explore here. I couldn’t resist playing it all in one sitting, and it was worth the time.

Nice stylistic graphics. This developer always make fun escape games that are not too hard but not too easy. I liked this vacation setting a lot.
