For a mobile game I was not expecting a whole lot. I knew the story wasn’t going to be a home run and the overall game wasn’t going to be much different from the first one. I expected a fresh coat of paint on basically the same division game and as far as that goes I got what I expected. HOWEVER, I play this game on iPhone 16PRO, and the graphics and frame rate are unrestricted. You can turn this game all the way up and when you do it’s smooth and there’s no overheating or stuttering. This game visually is not much different than console. You can screen mirror this from your phone to a tv and play it just like a console game with a controller and the graphics look just as good as any other game on Xbox or PlayStation. The attention to detail is incredible and this game is extremely well optimized and fun. Still not a big fan of the story and highly disappointed this is what we got instead of the division heartland. But for what it is it’s very well done and the team that worked on this does deserve credit. Don’t know many phone games that can be played at max graphics and 60FPS at the same time. Q
For a free game, it's absolutely amazing. Not really a P2W model either. If you're into 3rd person shooters, The Division franchise, or want a game with high difficulty replay-ability, then check it out. For example, Elite Missions (rotating weekly endgame content) are harder versions of Dungeons that reward good team comps, team builds, and thought out decisions because a full wipe sends you to orbit lol. Elite missions are currently the only way to get T2 loot for now if I'm not mistaken... so those who enjoy farming mythics for the best loot, the farm is very satisfying. Observation: Just make sure you choose your first spec very carefully because the materials to max it out are scarce. Be sure it's the one you want to start with. Bugs: intermittent crashes, the back button on controller doesnt work on some screens forcing you to have to tap to exit then resume usage of controller, item loss, lock button not working on your items, controller sensitivity intermittency, controller occasionally auto aims somewhere and you cant aim correctly after.
Let me start out by saying I am a massive Division fan. Have played since the original released on PS4. From a gameplay perspective this game checks all the boxes. It’s satisfying to level up, the gear feels like it actually makes a difference, when you find a good piece of loot it still gives you that hit of dopamine, and the shooting mechanics are great. However I see this game dying in the next few years purely because of the disgusting pricing. They do that terrible Chinese garbage of having to randomly draw to get any skin that doesn’t look like a thrift store outfit. With that draw system (it’s straight up gambling, one that increases the amount of money you have to spend to gamble again. It’s so scummy and is the reason I will no longer purchase anything in this game even though I love the game and want to support it. I just can’t support these ridiculous prices.) you end up most likely having to spend 50 dollars plus for a skin in a mobile game. THATS A FULL TANK OF GAS. OR THE PRICE OF A MEAL FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. These pricing will be the death of this game as no one is gonna support a game that feels like it’s trying to fleece you then spits in your face and asks for more money to get fleeced again.
