Reviews: What People Think About ScorePDF: Sheet Music Viewer

I’ve been using ScorePDF for months and loved it… until recently. I’ve always used this app to practice my bass playing. I’ve had my music app running in the background and I would look at the sheet music in ScorePDF. About 2 weeks ago, the background music app started going silent as soon as ScorePDF is opened. I’ve tried to find a solution in the Settings and can’t figure out how to contact the developers to see what’s changed. Maybe you need to rethink purchasing this app if you need to practiced music played through a background up like SlowDowner.

solid alternative to Forscore. continuously improving/updating. still needs apple pencil double-tap support. the developer has responded to and fixed my complaints twice.

As a professional performer, here are two things that I would like to see in a future update: 1. Annotations using text typing instead of drawing only. It’d would be nice to type a note about a song like “Key of F” for instance. 2. The title of each PDF file (song) at the top of the menu bar when in set list view. I’d like to see which song I am viewing in the set list instead of the set list title only.
About ScorePDF: Sheet Music Viewer

Turn pages with taps and swipes.
You can also reorder the pages of your sheet music.

Easy Page Turning
- You can turn pages with taps and swipes.
- Supports Bluetooth page-turning foot pedals.
- Tap assignments can be set to: previous page, left–right split, top–bottom split, next page, or disabled.
- Swipe gestures can be toggled on or off individually for up, down, left, and right.
- Actions other than page turning (such as displaying the menu or writing annotations) can be assigned to gestures that won’t interfere with page turning, such as long-pressing or tapping the top or bottom edges.
- Zoom operations on the sheet music (pinch or double-tap) can also be toggled on or off.

Page Reordering
- Reordering the pages makes page turning easier during repeats, dal segno, codas, and similar situations.
- When adding pages via reordering, you can add and drag multiple pages at once—not just one.
- You can also delete pages or add blank pages.

Annotations on Sheet Music
- You can write handwritten annotations on your sheet music.
- Two types of pens, markers, and an eraser are available, with undo and redo functions.

- An eyedropper tool lets you pick up colors from the screen.
- You can output a PDF that includes your annotations.

Setlist

- Bookmarks can have custom titles.
- Tapping the title in the menu bar displays a list of bookmarks; tapping one jumps to that page.

Page Layout
- You can choose from single-page, two-page (spread), vertical scroll, or horizontal scroll layouts for your sheet music.
- The layout can automatically change based on the screen orientation.
- When selecting vertical scroll, the sheet music is displayed at full screen width, making it easier to view on small devices.
