This app combines the fun of reading a story along with videos of how to pronounce words correctly. My son loves the musical jingles that go along with the story as well, he wants to play and listen to the story all the time. I’d recommend this app to any parent who wants an extra boost in pronunciation and diction exercises.
My daughter has nonspeaking apraxia and, over the past year, has been seeking out verbal input. Since using Talk Tales, she’s more encouraged and engaged—laughing, dancing, and vocalizing to herself even when alone. She now brings me new anchor words to repeat, inspired by the app. It’s boosted her curiosity and joy with sound. Highly recommend!
This app is highly engaging for students with significant motor speech production issues and compromised attention. Pairing visual cues with auditory and engaging graphics works so well.
