Self Love - Daily Affirmations

I’m a mental health therapist and was looking for more creative ways to help my clients who struggle with self acceptance, self love. I ended up trying this app for myself and I love it! I went right for the paid subscription since it’s so inexpensive. You can target so many areas of positive living and self improvement. Honestly, I often don’t take time to look at the affirmations in the app itself but the ones that pop up throughout the day on my lock screen are worth the subscription price. It’s uncanny how often they will be right on target. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve held my phone out for my husband to see and we both laugh or have a “whoa” moment.

I was skeptical paying for an app that is only quotes to help make you feel better about yourself. I mean, common sense that if you focus on negativity you’re only going to live a negative life and feel bad about your life so just think happy thoughts right? I needed more of a push though… my aunt could tell I was not as positive as I used to be since getting injured and no longer being able to do many things I used to in my previous active lifestyle and I started to gain weight FAST. It was devastating. So I searched the App Store found this one, tested it and shockingly fell in love with it! I have iPhone and Apple Watch so being able to get notifications (I usually don’t allow with apps in the first place) but being able to see a quote randomly on my watch at work is always at the perfect time! I love the categories I can search through, be able to add my own, save some for Lock Screen wallpapers, custom the font and background I mean as simple and dumb as this looks…. It changed my life and it’s part of my meditation routine now. If you’re looking to add small positive changes in your life and way of thinking this is a GREAT place to start! For a person that doesn’t want to better themselves everyday and work on their mindset, they’re not growing. They’re not bettering themselves. People who think they don’t need to work on themselves are living a very long and sad life…. You can become so much more if you work on yourself everyday. May not be by the use of this app (this is a small but important app in my life) but if you’re wanting to add even a little more positive vibes in your daily life…. You ain’t gonna feel bad at all with this app!

This app is amazing! I downloaded it thinking it was going to be bad, but I was wrong! This app gives you inspiration throughout the entire day!!! You can customize the amount of times you want one, the front, and even the background!! You can upgrade to premium (I haven't and I love it just the same). You can favorite the quotes and share them to others. The one thing I don't like about this app is that if I want to change the amount of times I get affirmations throughout the day it won't allow it. Overall this app is great! Thanks for reading! 😁😋
