KOKIRI – Learn Korean

I really agree with starfire116, it teaches you a long phrase without teaching you the basics of it. I really think that if it had some literal translations I'd be able to understand a LOT better and actually be able to identify what each word alone means, or if it taught you more slowly, teaching each word step by step. I wasn't really sure what each word meant so it was a bit hard to follow. That's really the only problem for me. Maybe it'd be better for someone who's at least conversational in Korean and wants to brush up on their skills, but I'm not so this isn't really my favorite app. It was a good idea though, and it's pretty, it just could've been set up better.

Overall, this app is great and provides a good resource for learning Korean. However, there is an issue with the mix in speaking exercises. It either won’t stop loading when “evaluating a response”, or it will say it “can’t hear you”. There are also some display issues where words can get cut off, particularly in the daily quiz and video interface. Some videos also have difficultly playing sometimes. Besides that, the app is wonderful and works just fine.

The app is nice, I’ve learned a lot with it, but it has problems with the buttons for the mic and the buttons for the practice parts that come in with the videos. It never saves my progress, neither my lessons and it not letting me practice with exercises like I used to do before. I paid the premium subscription and I expected to use the app without having any problems like those.
