DAYOL: Journal, Calendar

I tested out a few different journaling apps, and this was the absolute best one in terms of its features and upgrade price! It’s perfectly usable in its Free version, but I really appreciated that this doesn’t charge for premium with a monthly subscription. The creative tools for the journal pages are fun and engaging! It feels like just the right amount of options without being overwhelming, messy or confusing. The only feature I wish was available: to change the overview page titles from their defaults (“Daily Note”, “Check List”, etc) to customized titles. It’s not a major issue, just something that would help with organizing and looking through pages. Love the app regardless!

super cheap to get premium. stickers are adorbs. little annoyances and suggestions i have: - opening layers doesn’t pull up the layers immediately. there’s a dialogue box that you have to next before it opens the layers. maybe make that message show just once and then cut it out, so it’s more streamlined? please. - ability to change the color of handwriting after it’s been written. so like if i lasso-tool a handwritten word, maybe add a color changing wheel. - improve the pencil texture! it’s not appealing to look at! and sometimes the normal pen tool feels toooo clean, so much so it makes my terrible handwriting that much more obvious. the messy pencil texture helps hide that, but it’s too blurry and scattered as is. reference the narinder pencil from procreate, absolutely wonderful. - and finally, cutting photos (like erasing backgrounds) gets annoying because you have to select the entire thing in a single stroke. allow us to make a selection, lifting our stylus or finger as many times as we want, and add a circle to the starting point of the selection that we may click to finalize the selection of the photo we want to keep. what i’ve just explained is the exact way the feature works in procreate, please reference their lasso tool. integrate that into the photo-cutting feature. finished with my suggestions! other than these tiny grievances, perfect app. can’t hate on it too much. it does what it says to do, with a cute aesthetic wrapped on. again, i superrrr appreciate the single payment system. all these apps with their subscription-based models disgust me. you always end up paying WAY more than what the features of the app are actually worth. in this case? i feel i’ve paid way less than what i should for the features of this app. overall, awesome!

Cool glad I got your attention. (Sorry if I’ve already posted a review for this app like twice, I’m just not actually sure if they’re getting posted or not) So i downloaded this app recently and it’s been pretty great! But I have a problem with the ads for when you try and add more that six sheets, because even after the ad pops up it still won’t let me add another sheet even after I close the ad, and I really need to add more than six sheets because since I don’t have plus I can only make so many diaries Plz fix I beg of you
