Octo Aid

I have several of these type of apps on my phone but this one is by far the best. I have solar & a power wall 2 & run agile & it helps me to keep an eye on what we are using with in depth half hour usage & live usage also up coming rates with a (now) feature which is very useful. You can go back over time & see what you have used, even choose between dates. I use it several time a day it’s the one app I’d keep compared to probably 30 on my phone. Also when octopus charged me twice for electricity it helped me to get a refund as the app was correct & they weren't. Thanks for all your hard work & all the new features that keep on coming… I will be donating a coffee it’s the least we can all do.

I monitor all my energy (Octopus) using this app. I do have others but none has the versatility of this wonderful piece of data analysis. The app is has functionality added all the time. If I ever have a question I message Andy and he gets right back to me. All my data seemed to disappear one day and he investigated for me and allayed my fears. I have no other app where I feel there is a real person working on our behalf right there. This is truly a free app. There is no pressure or compulsion to make a donation but the work that goes into keeping this great app “on the road” deserves thanks. Sending Chloe a frothy coffee every now and again I think is such a good idea. But I stress there is no requirement whatsoever. Andy has really made a great app there and one I consult every day. In fact rather too many times every day.

Felt the need to add my feedback. App is free currently and it is first class, it puts Octopuses own app to shame as Octopuses own app can’t calculate costs from smart tariffs so you don’t know till billing day. Support is available FOC. I have paid nothing so far but do intend at some point to make a donation as I can’t fault the app. It pulls the data in as soon as it’s available from Octopus, unfortunately Octopus doesn’t pull in the meter readings at the same point for gas, electric import and export so it can be early or late in the day and that’s out if this developers control. I can’t fault this app, and think Octopus should get this app developer to smarter up there app. If anyone has issues the app developer is more than willing to look at the issue.
