NewMo

It’s a great idea to do a ride share in Newton to reduce traffic, which is much needed. Unfortunately, to cover the size of Newton (geographically big!) we need more drivers. The wait times are so long that many don’t want to use them. Secondly, the GPS app they use is extremely inefficient. Last time, it took us in completely the wrong direction down Route 9 during stop and go rush hour traffic, just to come back to near the starting spot. Added about 15 min to the trip!

I appreciate NewMo -very much I’ve been using it for 6 to 8 months. It’s very easy to book a ride. drivers are courteous and friendly and prompt. Very helpful to get around in Newton for someone without a car. I also ride the 59 bus and I take the green line to work inBack Bay Barb

I was super excited when I found this app as I thought it would be an inexpensive way to get to and from the T in order to get to and from my university in Boston. Unfortunately the past few days the only ride options have consistently been over 30 minutes away. In addition the app consistently underestimates how long it will take for the driver to get to the pickup point. This morning it was so bad that I would’ve missed my first class if I hadn’t been able to get my boyfriend to drop me off.
