I’ve been following Alice’s workouts since the start of the pandemic and have been faithful even since. Explanations are always throrough and clear. Modifications are always offered. Could not recommend enough. Thank you Alice!!! You’ve changed how I workout.
I’ve been following Alice from across the pond for a while now and in November decided to give her app a try. I have not been disappointed! I’ve always been athletic and into sport but have found the strength training and weight lifting that is so popular now to be intimidating. I have tried other apps (ones which are super popular but I won’t name) and have alway ended up with injuries because of the focus on pushing yourself as hard and as fast possible in competition with others without focus on the proper movement. Alice focuses on building strength and takes time to actually coach on the correct posture and movement as well as progressions and regressions. I still get in a good calorie burning workout but I have found myself increasing weight load and my joints (an often sore spot as a long time long distance runner) feel stronger and less sore as I’m now actually learning the movements to avoid injury. I’m feeling more confident when I walk into gyms now to do even do workouts on my own. I also appreciate her focus on how your body moves and feels as opposed to any number (on the scale or on the smart watch) as the measure of true progress. And it’s working! The number in the scale may not be changing but the fit of my clothes is! If you’re looking for someone who can coach you virtually to strength, wellness and more confidence while being able to do the workout from home, give this app a try!
Alice is a gift. Her workouts are tough but accessible, perfectly crafted for the at home fitness lifestyle, but could also adapt to a gym. Her monthly challenges allow you to actually build strength and technique over time, unlike most apps that just give you a bunch of disconnected workouts where it’s easy to lose motivation. Alice’s challenges keep you engaged because you see the progress week to week and you build on what you’ve accomplished. Her app is so thoughtfully designed, her coaching style is really well honed to give you the best of experience.
