Time Zone Pro

My coworker recommended this timezone app and I’d recommend this app to anyone who works across multiple timezones or has a family in a different country. This app does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I love the simplicity of the design and features of the app. It’s really useful to see the times by people. The widget is a gem. And oh, it comes with a Mac app, for free! (or is this iOS app bundled with the Mac app? 😎)

Updated: Updating to five stars following latest version release. I had been having display issues, but was impressed by the follow up from the developer to investigate and resolve the issue. And the new time-scrubbing feature was the last remaining thing I could ask of from an app like this. Really love having this on all of my devices - now a part of my productivity essential apps. Thanks! Original: This is a great way to handle the problem of distributed teams and managing their time zones. It works as advertised! There are, however, a few things that it could benefit from: hovering over a dot on a map to show the person or people that it represents, sync with your address book, and a couple of visual fixes (not sure how prevalent it is but in my case the window cuts off part of the time in the dropdown list). Great start, excited to see this get further developed!

The app is a neat idea, even knowing my team are spread across multiple time zones doing the quick addition/subtraction was something I found annoying. I also appreciate the cross device support out of the box. That said there are some bugs and annoyances. FEATURE REQUEST Would be nice to organize people by teams so I could see my whole company, and then my different product teams BUG/UX Issues 1. On my monitor (34" LG) the app bar widget will randomly appear on the left side of the screen instead of under the app bar icon. This frquently happens when creating or editing a contact when I click in any of the input fields 2. When clicking on the Location input field a popover is initiated with another input/search field which seems superflous (could the search field, just be on the first screen?) absent that though when the popover opens the it requires an additional click to input text in the field it really should autofocus on the search input as now it takes two clicks 3. No keyboard support. I thought perhaps using the keyboard to tab between the fields, but there doesn’t appear to be any keyboard support at all. These are initial setup issues so it’s only apparent early on in the process. Day-to-day use being read-only won’t be affected
