Tarot Simple: Cards & Readings

I really like this app because they give you one free reading a day and I purchased additional free ones and I’d like the interpretations they give and I can also put that into my own AI and of supplies an AI component to it so I think this would be among the top three or four tarot apps I just use the free readings, but I also buy additional readings because sometimes I want more than one reading a day and they allow you to do that with you can purchase an additional set so I think it’s a good thing to buy and I use it often recommend it. It would be nice to add a question to answer feature powered by AI as part of the app. Right now that's missing but AI powers the interpretation but you can't ask it questions.

Updating: Thank you for the response from the developer. Yes, after that first day, later days worked after updating the app. No problems currently. One of my very favorite Tarot apps! Thanks! Generally happy with this app. But I thought I was supposed to get 1 free AI reading per day. It’s been giving me an error message for the AI reading for over a week. I updated the app today and tried again for the 1 free AI reading. It told me I already had my 1 reading for today even though it only gave me the error message with no AI reading. So lots of frustration with the AI part recently. I don’t want to risk paying extra for an AI reading only to have that not work too. So worthless for me for the AI part right now. I liked it when it did work. So I removed a star for malfunctioning AI. Gave four stars since it worked for a while and the rest is fine. Other than malfunctioning AI, it’s a good tarot app. Classic cards. Several choices for layouts. Decent definitions. Thanks.

I’ve tried all the top tarot apps in the App Store and Tarot Simple is by far my favorite. The card meanings are all clearly well researched (based on the Smith-Waite tradition). I love that a succinct interpretation is given at the top of each card page, then the traditional Arthur Waite text is included and credited, and then you can scroll down for further information. Great format overall and the app is easy to use without a lot of the floofy nonsense I’ve seen in other apps. I most often use the Library section of the app in conjunction with my physical card readings, but I use the card draw features as well if I don’t have my physical deck available. One addition I would love to see is a Tarot Simple widget that displays the daily affirmation.
