1inch: DeFi Crypto Wallet

The aesthetic of this wallet was one of my favorites. Unfortunately, that design was blown up in the latest push. Plain, less customizable wallet graphics, extra click to “view all”. Altogether this makes it much harder, and less streamlined, to quickly view full balances and token lists on multiple wallets… while also being able to intuitively know which wallet the user is looking at. Bring back the option to view the full token list by default. Bring back the individual wallet customizations which had allowed for nearly limitless wallet graphic design and color combinations. (Very important when you watch a number of high profile wallets along with your own) This update sorta looks like the Coinbase wallet. CB’s wallet is awful. Update: Clear from their website that this redesign is part of the new branding. The wallet “customization” color options are making my eyes hurt. Seems like this aesthetic is a bit of a trend, personally I think it looks like a GUI that was rushed out months early. I get that focusing on appearances is a trope, but mass adoption requires not only chain agnostic ease of use, but an interface that releases those happy brain chemicals, too.

The only wallet in my knowledge that gives you out of box support for three popular blockchain networks, including Polygon and ever expanding Token support. With Trust and MetaMask you have to manually add many networks and tokens. Love 1Inch, since you guys are already one step ahead of others, you might as well add Harmony network out of box 😀and this will be light years ahead!

I like to think most of us know how important it is to keep your passcodes secure. But this too much! I’v heard of tails of missing bitcoin that would be worth billions today but the invest could not remember the passcode and did not have a second or third authentication process that would allow them access to there funds. What if a person is prone to Alzheimer’s or some other diseases that effect the mind? It’s seem to me that your App is setting people up for failure and will end up getting their money taking because the can’t produce that passcode from the initial account creation!! I will pass on this App for now....
