…but this app did the impossible. I downloaded it because as a Gotham FC season ticket holder, I had no choice. The app looks like it was designed by a 5th grader. I am consistently unable to view my season tickets because it is forever “syncing my account”. For managing my tickets, I end up using the website because it is more reliable. I also hate getting promotional notifications from the app, so I turned them off. I truly resent being asked to turn notifications back on every single time I open the app. It’s just the latest grotesque example of late-stage capitalism and rent-seeking from a captive audience of season ticket holders of teams I actually do support. Don’t use this app unless you have to.

This place has everything-concerts, sports, theater! And what’s that over there? It’s ticket futures, what an amazing app! I know this is a brand new app but I have to say I think this is an impressive launch into the ticketing space that is mired with too many hidden fees and hassles. Finally an option that is upfront and honest about your purchasing options, I guess I should expect nothing less from the most trusted name in sports. Well done sports illustrated, can’t wait to see what you do next.
