Overall this app is pretty good. If it were free I’d give it five stars. I love that you can customize the haptics. But expectations are a bit higher for a paid app and this could use some more features. The main thing that needs to be updated is including a schedule. For example, Monday-Friday from 11pm - 6am you set the interval every 30 minutes and Sat-Sun 12pm - 4pm it’s every 60 minutes. Some customization like that would bump it up to five stars for sure. Right now you can only choose one interval and you have to manually turn it off and on. Perhaps a bit of a reach but if it used your heart rate to send notifications during REM sleep, that would be outstanding. Lastly, and this is probably on Apple, you cannot receive haptics or notifications on Do Not Disturb, so you have to turn that off thru the night if you want to use this app. Overall I’d recommend the app.
There was an annoying thing about this app that caused me to set the alerts very sparingly, but the creators fixed the issue. This app is simple and useful. I used to use the trigger of checking my watch twice to lucid dream, and if time had changed I would know I was dreaming. This should be even better, every time it alerts me, I try to put my finger through my palm, try to move something near me with telekinesis, or whatever. It’s all a matter of habit, can’t wait to see results! One more suggestion I should add is instead of a check ever 30 minutes, 1 hour, or whatever, have an option to have random checks, with an option as to approximate frequency.
This is a fantastic concept and it was executed perfectly, well almost. I would have liked to see a dedicated phone app, but that’s just a preference thing and not the reason for the 4 stars. I would have given it 5-stars if it would allow for intervals for the intervals. For instance, I would like to have set my intervals to only occur from 7am to 10pm daily instead of having them occur every hour from the time I start. All in all a great app and would love to see this change in a later update.
