This app is junk. We need to use a third party app to access our iPoint server and most functions. This iOS app doesn’t allow you to access quite a lot. Let alone this garbage app though, iPoint in general is garbage also. The UI looks as if it was designed by a software engineering student straight out of community college. Very basic, dated, and without any polish. All iPoint apps, on all devices, are slow and clunky, take forever to load, if they do load and you don’t have to close the app completely and reopen, not intuitive at all with hidden buttons and functions, functions that when you hit the button there’s no indication that anything happened, it’s confusing and super cumbersome, the proposals look like a high school student created it in Microsoft word, etc, etc. I don’t recommend iPoint to anyone.
When it works it’s great for my use case. Being without cell service and still being able to check in to jobs is super handy but when it doesn’t work it’s really aggravating. Sometimes the app will load without the checkin bar at the bottom so I have to force close the app and hope it will load correctly. Sometimes it takes 5-10 attempts for it load.
If used correctly with the knowledge of offline mode, it is an amazing app
