Where is MMR?

With 30+ years in the automotive industry and experience using other Appraisal tools, this tool is cumbersome and impossible to use in an auction situation. Garbage in is garbage out and this platform is no different. The idea of backing into what I should pay for a car isn’t rocket science. The most important element in that equation is making sure the comparables are apples to apples and that there is an accurate sampling of my competition. This tool never has enough comparables and they say it’s because they don’t pay for their data feed. I need to see all the comparables in my market. If I have to go 100 miles out I’m no longer in my market. Time and Time Again I have found three times the amount of comparables on CarGurus and AutoTrader. How am I supposed to price my car accurately if I can’t see all of my competition? This tool only gives me part of the picture. I have also found that the VIN scanner on this tool is poor at best and has made many mistakes confusing the letters and numbers of a VIN. this could be why I have found that it has decoded engines and drive trains improperly. Because of this incorrect data I am forced to double check everything for accuracy vulnerable or make a costly mistake. It’s such a waste of time. Long story short, I cannot trust this app tell me accurate decisions in a timely manner in an auction situation and since I can’t truly compare apples to apples even I am at my desktop this Appraisal tool and inventory management tool is poor at best. I have more examples but don’t want to waste any more of my time.

Use daily and frequently have issue loading and scanning vins. Terrible would not recommend.
