I’m officially at 142 Million followers and 2.07 Trillion likes, with 1.74 billion dollars. I’ve hired every entourage member, have a good job stat wise, a really good house and car, yeah everything is maxed out. I’ve never gotten an offer with any agencies since I hit 1 million followers. Doesn’t matter if I get an influx of them or anything, no agencies have contacted me. That’s all fine since I have a make-up line anyway. The thing is, I’m to the point now when I make a billion dollar purchase on make-up inventory, I lose over 2 BILLION dollars to sell it out. Tell me how I’m the world that makes any sense???? I had a goal of getting to 3 Billion, I made it almost to 4 and no matter what it took away my money for selling inventory. In real life this wouldn’t even make sense. Say I somehow lost all my 1 billion dollars worth of product, I would only lose the money that I used to buy the inventory and business cost of personnel and warehouses. It still wouldn’t account for 2 billion dollars all together. Plus, I’m not selling it through anyone else, but my social media account. There is no personnel I’m paying to sell it. I’m only buying the product and shipping the sales out. It doesn’t make any sense. Also, now the cane refuses to let me force the conference people to have them pay me to do the offer. I can only select, “Sign me up!” Which is not at all what I want to do. The only thing that could make this all make sense is I’ve maxed everything out to the point where it’s punishing me for succeeding in ridiculous ways. There’s no point in playing anymore. I also feel like I wasted the time, because I never won! I’m officially an influencer and there’s been no “Hey you beat the game!” Or “Good job!”.
Nice game but right now it’s very rough. It’s pretty boring since everything pretty much stays the same besides the text that tells you (it’s the next day). Maybe take inspiration from a game like BitLife to make the game more alive and fun. The other reason I gave this 3 stars is the obvious cash grab. I get that devs gotta eat but making us pay for a reset button… that’s outrageous. That’s a basic feature every base game should have. And clearly the dev knows this so they included 50K cash and 10K followers/30K likes in the bundle to try and make it seem like it’s worth paying $3.99…. For a reset button. As the game is right now it’s not worth anyone’s time or money. Call me when it’s got more work and effort put into it. RESPONSE TO DEV COMMENT: Ok I re-installed the game and saw that yeah you can restart for free BUT my comments about the cash grab and lack of effort put into the game still stands. It’s still not worth anyone’s time and money as it currently is now. Very boring game and I can’t see anyone making past a few clicks.
It’s really more of a clicker incremental than a deep social media simulation, but it does have some pretty neat ideas. I throughly enjoyed my play through of this game! The slow but steady progression of working random jobs, to getting contracts, and finally promoting your own products is very satisfying Buying increasingly more expensive cars and houses for clout to gain more followers is hilariously accurate. It gave me a good laugh. Possible suggestion: don’t change the end game It took me just under a day to “complete” this game and I’m not sure if that was intentional. With the charisma stat, the amount of followers and likes grows exponentially, and with that so does money that is earned. Once I realized this, the game turned into a traditional incremental with big numbers and unrealistic figures, ex. followers cap out at around 38 billion, but last time I checked the world population wasn’t quite there yet haha. Anyways after getting 38 billion followers, it was a race to the top of the leader boards. The process is to simply just buy and sell your products. I was able to get to 17th place before crashing the game due to integer overflow. The thing is, I loved just about every second of playing this game, unrealistic bits and all. I don’t think there should be any changes in followers and likes increasing exponentially. Rather than try to balance out the game, it could be used to its benefit. The tone could suddenly shift, with the goal no longer being a celebrity influencer, but world domination or something like that.
