Cancelling is super easy but don’t leave with for the last minute. You just have to go to your Apple Store profile>Subscriptions>then select the free trial you want to end. - You can cancel early to avoid getting automatic charge, It will continue to allow you access until date of expiration. - The app is good but I really don’t need it. If you have an iPhone you can also scan the same quality images from using the document picture feature either on your camera or from your email app.
I downloaded the app in a hurry, not realizing I needed a subscription and everything to use it- yea, that's annoying - but I subscribed and got what I needed just fine anyways. When it came to canceling the subscription, I saw that alot of people in the reviews were calling scam on the app, claiming there's no way to unsubscribe... and while I couldn't find anything in the app that allowed that, I went to delete the app anyways and was alerted with a popup allowing me to keep or manage the subscription. If you have an iphone and you're worried or confused about how to end your subscription, hopefully this helps and you can just delete and select "manage subscription" and cancel the subscription.
You don’t get any trials with this app, which is fine on its own, because fundamentally I feel like app developers should get paid for their work either through up-front payment, subscriptions, or ad revenue. It’s the deceptiveness, however, that’s the problem. Nowhere does it say that a subscription is REQUIRED until you’ve gone all the way through the process until the very end, and already given the app access to your files & photos. It would be easy enough for them to put a pop-up box that says “subscription required!” At the very beginning. I have serious doubts of the integrity of the high reviews on this app. Seems like the real goal is a cheap way for them to data mine. By the way, the subscription is $4/week. No free trial, no pay per conversion (which I would be fine with!). Just a scam.
