SoSecure by ADT: Safety App

I live in a rural area and police can take some time to arrive, so my neighbor and I are eachother’s immediate security. I couldn’t find another app that will call both my “guardian” and first responders, so that’s why I chose to pay for this one. However, SoSecure is missing a siren button and Apple watch support so I still need the free version of the other apps. I may not always have my phone with me, but the watch would be a lifesaver if I ever had to run to the designated “safe room area” but didn’t have my phone with me.

I found this app to be a tremendous aid for my peace of mind. I have it, my wife has it, and I just put it on our son's phone who started in a new middle school this year. With all of the crazy stuff that's been happening I do a lot of worrying about my family. No more. Whether it's me in a new city on a business trip or my wife jogging, or my son coming home on the school bus, I can rest a little easier because I don't have to worry. They have the ultimate security right in their pocket. I trust ADT. I've had them for my home security for three years. I picked them partially because they've been around for so long, but they've kept me because of their excellent customer service. Glad to see they branched out into this app, that was a no-brainer for me.

For the cost per month, this app is great. Lots of features!! I spend a lot of time home along and I have some health issues, this app works great for my needs right now. When I get older I am have to get something different. I would recommend for anyone to just give it a try. It gave me more peace of mind knowing I can get help just by taking or pressing one bottom. I think if someone with an older family member if I would recommend it, I would have to give it some thought. Sometimes it’s harder for older people to understand how it works and they have to keep their phone near them at all times. Just my opinion, you would know if your elderly family member would know how to operate the app. I tried it with my mother before she passed and she just could not get the hang of using the app.
