Fitafy: The Fitness Dating App

A lovely idea but very basic in design (like 90s DOS level) which makes the price outrageous. The only things you can do is make a profile and send likes. Far less “fit” people than one would think for a fitness dating app, so not very inclined as a woman to pay to see likes from men I’m not interested in. Would make more sense to pay to message and allow people to at least view some likes to see if the investment is worth it.

Fitafy is beyond easy to navigate. I love that it matches you based on similar interests! The best part is, you can download Fitafy if you are looking for a new lover or just a gym partner!! Highly recommend!

App sounded great in theory but apparently still needs some work. When I attempted to make an account the first thing it required from me is a photo, which makes sense. For some reason though, it wouldn’t recognize my face in my favorite photo that I currently use on my other dating profiles. Can’t explore the app any further without getting past that step so while I'm a bit disappointed because I was excited about this app, I’m also a bit relieved. If I’m having a problem this big during my first minute interacting with the app, I’m afraid of what other problems I might find after putting time into making a whole profile and all that. Not to mention the worry of what other “faceless” photos it might not accept in the future. If I’m being honest I think it’s kinda silly to require people to put their faces in the first place bc it should up to users to decide who they wanna swipe on, face or no, but ig that’s besides the point. For the sake of this app I really hope they fix whatever is happening with their facial recognition software. Great idea if they can get the photo thing fixed.
