Z-Dash Cam

I’ve had this dashcam for years and it’s worked wonderfully. The app is clunky but gets the job done. I could connect to the dashcam wifi, download the video(s) I want, save them, disconnect, and go about my day. I would’ve give this app 4 stars if that was still the case. But the app started giving me trouble when trying to connect to the dashcam wifi. It would also not allow me to download full videos, just still images, which was weird. Then I had to get a new phone (last one broke) and, ever since, the app stopped connecting to the camera entirely. It would connect to the dashcam wifi but say “No Internet” and wouldn’t connect to the actual camera itself. I tried everything I could think of. I even tried to ask for help to the manufacturer via the app but that failed to go through too. So I reset the camera and now it won’t even connect to the wifi at all and acts like the password is wrong. Which doesn’t make sense at all. So please fix whatever broke in the app. I’m begging you. I’m at the end of my rope. If this isn’t fixed soon, I’ll just invest in another dashcam that does work. Even if it’s the old fashioned kind with an SD card and no broken app.

This app used to easily connect to the app with the WiFi. Now all of a sudden it no longer works and it’s frustrating. It seems to be after I updated my iPhone it no lingers connects. I’ve done everything & checked everything yet no fix. It shows the WiFi shows no connection so without that it can’t connect to the app or dash cam! Please fix this!!

I have had their T4K dash cam for over a year and have never had connection issues like others have discussed. Just make sure that you’re connected to the dash cam wifi in your iPhone settings. Most of the issues with playback that I’ve previously complained about has now been fixed, although long overdue. The app used to make you download the front camera’s 4K resolution videos in order to watch it; not anymore! I like the neat playback shortcut functions such as double tap to pause/play as well as drag your finger left/right to rewind/fast forward. I just realized that the app now has a livestream feature which was recently implemented. You can watch your cameras live on the app as long as your car is on powering the dash cam. One little thing I suggest is to implement a button on the app to change the view of the livestream between front/rear view camera
