I was alerted to a water leak on my phone when I was 4 hours away and was able to have a friend of mine come in my home and plug in my sump pump that came out most likely from my cats wrestling around it. Saved my basement!!!!! Thanks!! The app is a complete game changer!!!!! It also let me know that my furnace blower/heater turned on and shorted and didn’t turn off, while I was in FL. I watched on my app the temperature climb until it triggered the smoke/heat alarm!!!! Very happy and impressed!
So we have been having trouble with a couple of our devices, not appearing on the app and we contacted the representative for help and I think they’re working on that however also have one device that is not registering temperature and when I click on the notifications, it shows me that there are two pages of notifications because they were doing some self testing this morning- but when I click on the second page, it takes me to a completely blank white page, and I can’t back out of it, so I have to close the app entirely. This seems like a bug.
After the steep $2,800 price tag it’s totally worth the sense of security and awareness of not worrying all the time. I take care of my mom at 27 years old so it definitely helps along with our 9 month old boy too. I like the updated app but still wish something’s were different but still love my OmniShield after 2 years 🤙🏼
