Fluent AAC: Communication App

The overall app is pretty decent. But I have some issues and reached out to support 3 times now with no response. To bad I prepaid the 12 month subscription.

My initial interactions with customer service before my subscription was pleasant. They even offered me a discount to purchase. After subscribing, I came across issues and other questions that I tried to email/chat about. Emailing was a waste of time, as this was never addressed after weeks and multiple attempts. And chat I did get response but it was extremely sporadic with minimal follow up almost as if this company is comprised of 2-3 individuals running the entire operation. There’s also been a ‘coming soon’ for the Fluent Pro (lots of improvements/updates) that seems like it may actually never come anytime soon. The initial response I got was a certain date and when I tried reaching out was told it was delayed another month and several months later still not available (not a huge issue, but worth mentioning). The app itself is good when it works, but does lag and freeze quite often. I prefer the symbols and images much more than touchchat, but I’m contemplating spending the money to go to touchchat instead because the fluidity and support.

This is the communication app we have been looking for! Finally we are able to focus on what matters (communication) rather than having to figure out how the underlying technology works. Super useful and more affordable than any other AAC app we have tried in the past!
