I just read an article that over the summer the City of KC instituted $30 parking fees during events. In the article City representatives said the way to know which areas are affected is to use this app and that possibly they could send push notifications when the user is in the area. We’ll be attending an event this week and to be prepared I downloaded the app. I can’t even get past the first screen (enter email address or phone number) even after multiple attempts. And according to the developer history tge app hasn’t been updated in more than 2 years??! This is very wrong, forcing people to use a broken app. Bad move KC.

Worst app - doesn’t work, you can’t extend time, can’t easily change information. Worst people working behind it - even if you do pay, you get a warning because for some reason they can’t see that you’ve paid. But even if you do pay, they’ll find another reason to fine you to get the most money out of you.

Neither of my payment cards could work even though there was nothing wrong on the bank side. And I was completely unable to get help from support via chat or phone. Also, why not just support Apple Pay? I fail to understand why apps make payment harder than it should be. And I also don’t trust every random app necessary to facilitate services.
