I was able to log in the first day, not today. Clicking the search takes you to a login but it says scan barcode and doesn’t mention you’re logging in, what barcode am I scanning and why? When I was able to log in the scan barcode pops up, which is great if I wanted to scan for an ISBN, but unintuitive if I wanted to search by title or author, you have to close out of the scan page and behind it is the search by word feature. The app also crashed when searching the first time. This app would be better if it just mirrored the website, or have the user more clues as to what is going on for each screen. Bad UX.

Awful. Used to be useful and now unusable. Retains none of the features that made it a fairly decent app. I got a new IPhone and it stopped working (latest IPhone). So I thought OK let me delete and re-add from the App Store. I read other reviews before and I wondered why so many people left negative reviews. Now I understand. I can’t store my info, heck I can’t even get it to accept my library card info sometimes, let alone the minimal basics of search, see current checkouts and holds,put on hold or renew anything. I agree with other reviews. As a developer myself, the developers responsible for this should be fired and a new rewrite or revert back to an older version of the app. It seems like it is not a priority for the library. No one from the development team or library even responds to the reviews to try and help people having issues. Extremely disappointing, especially for an otherwise great library. Should be fixed or removed from App Store.

I’ve been searching around this app and it is a big improvement over the last one! I especially love the ability to renew multiple books at a time. Some things that could improve: -Once signed in to databases and Flipster, keep it signed in. I never have my library card on me to continually put in the number just to use those resources. -Have events able to be filtered by location and easier to access different dates. Scrolling through a ton of events on one day just to find one you want at a certain library is a pain. Also, I’m not sure if this is available yet - but allow registration for events on here too (though maybe it does that already). Overall a big improvement! Thank you!
