After reviewing all the so-called deals I find all the discounts are available as standard discounts on the vendors sites. Dues “pays” for these discounts yet they are not discounts. I find all the NYSUT deals to be phony. I refuse to be a sucker in this smoke and mirrors game. Follow the money, folks.
It just doesn’t work well. I try to use it but it gives me add style services that can be tapped into. Sad because as a union member I would love to use it.
Saw great deals. Booked, screen went blank. Called the hotel and no reservations. Waited an hour and tried again. Blank screen after I placed my info, called the hotel 20 minutes later. No reservations. I wouldn’t mind this but all my bookings are nonrefundable, even if the app screwed up. So, it’s nice to look at but worthless to use.
