I appreciate and respect any attempt to invite and teach others about Jesus Christ. At the same time, it needs to be done properly. I’ll share a fact, then some opinions. Fact: much of the information shared is objectively false, especially when it comes to teaching about churches/religions that these guys are not a part of. If you are Muslim, Jehovah’s Witness, Mormon, Buddhist, etc, I imagine you’ll be upset by what they teach regarding your beliefs. Opinion: I think that the “teachers” are so caught up in their own credibility and echo chamber that the teachings are built on a foundation of pride. A lot of assumptions are made that are harmful to others. I also believe that these people are peddling the Word of God for money. In what universe did Christ give the go ahead for teachers to accept money for their interpretation of the scriptures? I feel like I’m going crazy sometimes because I cannot wrap my head around this idea being ok. In addition to asking for money, why do they make so many assumptions and present everything they say as fact? If you want to learn about Jesus Christ, read the Bible. Don’t listen to these sheep in wolves clothing asking you to pay for their own interpretations.

Such amazing content and explanations on things that new Christians like myself find us asking ourselves. Like others have also mention, not only has this app taught me a great deal it has also instilled confidence in my understanding of scripture. My only little thing is when watching the videos I sometimes get interrupted and have to jump back on and it will lose my place in the video. I’m not sure if there are any possible app add ins that could save a spot in a video for your. Other than that little tiny detail this is just such a fantastic resource and I’m just loving it!

The content is legit, just subscribe. The App unfortunately pales in comparison. Nathan, you are putting a small batch single origin Kenyan light roast pour over in a McDonalds cup. Biggest things missing: 1) Saved Progress - if you close the app you will lose your spot. It doesn’t even open that video again, nothing. 2) Audio only Playback. If you are driving you still have to play the videos, which depending on the connection you use may be a little harder. Apple play try’s to make you not watch or listen to a video while driving. And hey, CarPlay Integration would be dope! 3) Playback Controls. No speed control anywhere, no lock screen controls, and no bookmarking. So if what you hear is so good you want to make sure you find it again, nope: write it down while driving is all you get. 4) No custom playlists and no playlist offline (like when you are listening in the Subway or on an airplane) you have to click to the next video every five minutes. Only play lost you get is if you start at the first episode. The app wins at simplicity; it’s a little too simple. Everything is found quickly in one page. You can play back with your screen off, so you can “watch” anywhere. All the courses are in playlists if you start with episode one and don’t stop (and are online) so you don’t have to do any to binge on some Theology there. Overall the app is not build for “on the go”, it’s build for someone who wants to watch at home with good internet and a notepad but doesn’t have or doesn’t want to log on with a computer.
