SwitchedOn - Reaction Training

I love this app and is one of the best apps in the Apple store because the benefits of it its huge. I am a sailor and during my races and training my brain needs to be thinking from the moment I rig the boat to the moment I come back to the water. Switched on has helped me to train my cognitive side on land. I do love to do warm-ups in my gym session with it, I love to play games with friends with it too… to see who is faster at choosing colors. And recently I started using it with my dog to try to teach him right and left reaction. The benefits are incredible, it is an app that every human should use to develop their cognitive intelligence.

I’ve actually been using this app for around 6 mos and felt compelled to leave a review because it’s been so impactful in moving the needle in my training. I think this element of neuroscience combined with traditional physical conditioning is is the future of peak performance. I’d love to see some more tracking or logging functions so I can really build this into my routine wven better. But definitely a 5 star app that I can tell has a lot of science built into it. Looking forward to continuing to recommend this to others !

This app approaches training through a lens that enhances the way an athlete experiences a session. It’s not just supplemental, it is a game changer. Considering how to add uncertainty into a drill so that reacting in real time is built in is closer to “realistic” or “game like” than any other method. This app has amazing drills pre set for you to try per your sport, but also fosters creativity by giving you the tools to create your own drills. As a professional athlete and skills coach, I highly recommend this app for any athlete or coach looking to take advantage of groundbreaking technology that improves the training experience significantly!
