My Chihiros

I’ve been running the Chihiros four head pump for about 2 months now and really want to love it, but this app is not letting that happen. Everything seemed to be working at first, but over the last 2+ weeks the Bluetooth loses connection with my phone and I lose the dosage accumulation and have to figure out how to reconnect the thing again. Maybe I need to set this up on my iPad because that never leaves the area of my tank. Regardless, I have many apps that use Bluetooth and none of the others has this issue. An update with a bug fix would go a long way to gathering more stars.

The light is great but you’ll not be able to use it. The app is a piece of trash and you can’t do anything to the light without the app (not even turn it on). Save your money and buy other Chinese junk rather than this Chinese junk. App developers - there is a country called India. Hire a few people for cheap from there and they’ll do the job of fixing this trash.

Love the light needs more work for the Bluetooth and more work on the app. The Fluval app is better than this app. Set my auto settings for the time I want the light to come on and go off, my light didn’t turn on until I got home from work and walled it the room for the Bluetooth to connect to tell it to come on. That really needs to be fixed. My Fluval plant light 4.0 and 3.0 work fine once I set the times. I can go to work come home and my Fluval lights are on. I can cut my Bluetooth off and the Fluval lights still come on. Not the Chihiros light. Needs a lot of work if I’m going to keep paying the prices for this light. Better off saving up and buying a ADA light.
