I had a rest bad experience with someone that I met through this app (through no fault of the app at all.) The person I met made me very uncomfortable with his sexual advances, he wasn’t taking no for an answer. I deleted him from pepper and explained the situation, and I received a very quick response through email from pepper’s customer service letting me know they handled the situation and he has been blocked from the app. They took my concerns seriously and dealt with the issue quickly. I appreciate that so much. As for the app, it is easy to use and I have had good experiences with the people I have spoke to other than this one person.

The app itself is pretty decent. Cool setup for the profile page, asks lots of cool introductory questions. Not why I’m writing the review tho. I initially just got the app to get laid but then I met this amazing, intelligent, funny, sweet, easy going, beautiful girl. She’s like my new best friend and if it wasn’t for the fact she goes to school so far away I would most definitely ask her to be my girlfriend. My assumptions and ideas I had about the type of people l’d meet on pepper were definitely very wrong, I met a girl who’s personality I thought couldn’t even be found in my dreams, let alone on pepper, not too long later and she’s someone I really care about; I love her, she’s so amazing. I’ve never written any type of review in my life, but she’s so special I felt I owed pepper a little credit. But anyway, I’d recommend the app solely on that basis, you never know who you’ll run into, might just meet your best friend. But if ur looking to just get action, tinder is the move😂

I logged out of my pepper account and because I recently moved abroad, I now have a new phone number so I was unable to get back into my account. My email was the one I used in college, and my Facebook was attached to it. I had been talking to a guy I’m really interested in and I had made a lot of great blooming friendships on the BFF feature being new in town. I was really upset and convinced that I would lose all of those contacts and have to start fresh. But the pepper support team worked with me to confirm my identity and change my login so I could recover my account. I cannot say thank you enough! As someone who is starting a new chapter in a new city, thank you pepper for helping me do so :)
