Bikes Hill

I can confidently say that this game was perfect to play in between any daily activities or when I was in an awkward situation, this was the game I would consider my comfort game. However, I went from playing this game daily, to playing it maybe once every 2 months. I’m not sure why, but there was an update which made it easier to crash your bike? This severely decreased my interest in the game. The game used to my simple, and a perfect difficulty for all ages, now I can’t even finish one round without crashing. I used to be able to glide down each mountain with no difficulty besides when I would accidentally miscalculate how far the next hill was, and that was the fun of it. Determining which hill I had to go down to perfectly land on the steeper hill ahead of it was difficult as is. Now I can’t even bring myself to play due to the ridiculousness of how easy it is for my bike to crash. To put it in other words, it’s like a bad ref that calls a foul for every step a soccer player takes. Please fix it developers, you had a real good game, don’t complicate it.

I’ve been playing this game for quite a while now and due to the poorly calibrated physics engine that the game runs on I’ve kept finding reasons to play. The smooth bonuses one gets can easily be stacked on top of each other to achieve scores in the thousands of feet. Sometimes the smooth bonus will bug out and give you an additional bonus and propel your velocity to a higher level than normal. Using this, you can achieve scores in the tens of thousands. After around ~9000 or so feet the map disappears entirely and you land on nothing. On the extremely rare occasion the smooth bonus will give you two additional bonuses and really send you flying. Doing this with ~16x stacks of smooth bonus you can glitch outside the map entirely and achieve a functionally infinite score. I’ve let the app run like this for hours and reached distances in the millions before closing app out of boredom. Ultimately, what drives this game is its bugs, not its core game design, but as long as those bugs still exist its definitely worth playing. Don’t change Bikes Hill, don’t change.

Love it, super addicting to see if you can beat your previous best scores. I’ve gotten to about 3k as my best score, other than that, there’s nothing else to really do in the game. I’ve leveled my coins to level 15 and my speed to level 52. The new islands you can achieve by getting a certain distance, I can literally jump over that whole thing and it won’t give me the next island. It doesn’t matter really because the only thing the islands do are change colors. I feel like adding jetpacks, some bombs, etc to get a further distance would be super fun. I’m at the point where I’m just leveling up and it’s only 5k distance till the next level for every level. It would be cool if the higher level you achieve the further distance you have to go. So it’s not as fun as I would like it to be, but I’m still giving it a 4 star review. I feel like you guys can make this game so much better.
