It is way too difficult, unintuitive, and nonsensical to block content you don’t want your child to listen to from the phone app. It might be easier from a computer, I haven’t tried that yet. With the app you can search things to block. You can’t click on something and tell it to be blocked. When you go into the settings to block something there is no search bar to look for what you want to block. In fact the only way to access blocking something is to do it through their “listening history” and then there will be an option to block it. So you have to have the app play it first. Every individual song. And it can’t just be 5 seconds. I listened to a song for 5 seconds and that wasn’t long enough to show up on the listening history list. Makes no sense to have to wait until the song is mostly played before you can block it. Makes no sense that you can’t search things to block. Another thing which is more of a nit pick that you can’t cast what you are playing to an Alexa, not even the kids Alexa. The only things that I have that it can cast to is the Apple TV device plugged into the living room TV. It has been out six years and it still can’t connect to a kids Alexa dot?

Hey! I do like your app, and while it’s meant for younger kids (I’m 14), I do need to point out a few things… 1: You guys need to look/listen closer to the songs. There’s some songs that are completely appropriate for any age (ex. Vitamin Orchestra is lyric-less and not on there), but others that are not good for 12 and under (ex. Beautiful Mistakes by Maroon 5) 2: Can you add the ability to create playlists? I love a lot of different kinds of music that can clash, so having more than one playlist would be much appreciated. 3: this is a personal preference, but could there be more color themes? I’m older, so this might not be so commonly felt, but there’s only a few choices of color, none of which I’m super into. Maybe have a custom choice where you can choose 2 different colors? I got this app, loved it for a while, and then discovered the search button. I’m searching for songs I love, and the only things that come up are either cutesy toddler songs or literarily nothing. I’m 11 years old, and I bought this because I like MUSIC. But if you don’t have enough music for kids over 5 years old, I might as well delete it. I sometimes ask my mom to play Harry Potter music by John Williams in the car, because he is an awesome artist and I love Harry Potter. I was like, “great! Now I can listen to it at home whenever I want, too!” Nope! I searched and it was only three songs from the first movie! The Christmas one, the theme song, and Hedwig’s theme. Honestly! Could you PLEASE put more than three songs on there? It would be absolutely amazing if you could make a Harry Potter playlist! And if you could do songs from the other movies it would be great, too 👍😊 Thank you for putting a lot of Star Wars on there, at least. I also like Lo-fi, and there are these super awesome Disney Lo-fi songs I love, too! Please please please add more variety and much more Harry Potter! I’m sorry for the long review, thank you for reading!
