Contact Groups - Text & Email

My name is Noah Powless, I am not being paid and I don’t usually write reviews. I’m a very punctual and organized person; however, I also don’t like to spend money on unnecessary things. I can assure you this apps yearly subscription is only 4 USD. In my opinion that’s inexpensive. This apps software is exactly what I wanted and I’m going to use it and recommend it to everyone with a contact list that constantly fluctuates in numbers and people. I utilize an iPhone but the contacts default app isn’t what I wanted. This app hits my needs right on the money and honestly if it doesn’t work for you then I’ll be surprised. If you took the time to read this, thank you. Unfortunately my opinion doesn’t matter, so try the app yourself.

The main reason I got the app was because of the suggestion from Google searches to delete multiple contacts at once. I haven’t tried it out yet. I am writing a review, however, because of the response to poor reviews in the App Store. I don’t intend on actually using the app, simply because of the response to negative reviews. People write reviews to give their opinion on the product and their experience using the app. A number of reviews mentioned all of their contacts being deleted using the app. This is something that concerns me and can be attributed to human error or technical flaw. However, whoever is responding to the reviews is honestly condescending and makes me not want to use the app. Purely because of attitude and accusatory statements. I was looking forward to being able to delete multiple contacts at once, but I will be seeking other means to do so. For those that do use the app, I hope that you do have a positive experience with customer service.

I wished to delete more than one contact at once and since apple does not offer that I googled it and this app was listed as a good way to do it. I download it and sync my contacts and start selecting the ones I want to delete. When I get to 10 an error message pops up saying I can’t select more than 10 so I go to delete them but my brain has a malfunction and I try to select another contact. The error pops up again and I hit ok and then I hit delete so I can delete the first 10 contacts I selected. Before I know what has happened the screen paused for a second and I see that some contacts I did not select are selected then before I know it the screen updates and ALL of my contacts are gone from the app and my phone. There was no confirmation or undo. When I went to apple support they told me that the app had also managed to delete them from my cloud storage and backup as well. Perhaps this app is good for other purpose but it seriously messed up for me.
