iMove Ride App

I ran across this service via a Google search while in Mykonos. It was very easy to use and we were able to get an amazing Mercedes van to transport our 9 passengers. I was happy to see it also works in Rome and we used it exclusively while there because the MoveIt app was too confusing! We also booked through them for transport to the airport in Rome for 9 people and 14 bags. This required 2 vans. When I booked 2 vans, they immediately texted me to verify, which I appreciated. The next morning, our flight was delayed with enough notice for me to cancel our original reservation and reschedule a new pick up time. They were very understanding and accommodating. The app is easy to use and easy to follow your driver. We also appreciated that we could pay via the app. This service was a life saver for us in Mykonos and Rome!

I was in Mykonos for 5 days in August and this application made my trip so much better. My main concern about Mykonos was the lack of taxis on the island. Because of this application, I never waited more than 10 minutes for a taxi. All the drivers were very nice and professional. One night we were running a little late and the driver, I think his name was Lambros, was so patient and nice. You pay in euros at the end of the ride so it’s perfect for those who don’t want to use credit card. Do not go to Mykonos without this application - you will be waiting for a taxi for a long time!

This app works perfectly & we had very positive experiences using it. Rides require Euros, no credit cards. The comments by another reviewer regarding the drivers requiring ID (passport #) and a signature is accurate but is merely a legitimate local requirement for non-taxi operators. They’re also restricted from driving into the old city center and central shopping district, but will drop you off just outside, which is about a 30-second walk to everything; another modest concession to the “official” taxi companies and well worth the cost savings. The app works exactly like Lyft and Uber, with a description of the car, license plate, driver’s name, the car’s location and time until pickup.
