Aaron M. from the support desk was AMAZING! I made a second line to include as an RSVP number for my upcoming wedding and started the free trial and assumed they would charge my account after the trial well I noticed the account had signed me out and had a meltdown because I sent out invitations with the number on it so I reached out to customer support thinking I wouldn’t hear back until a few days later. Well I thought wrong a minute after I sent my email Aaron M responded and helped me right away and was able to reinstate my number. You saved me from a line of chaos. I appreciate how fast and efficient you were. Thank You.

I’ve had to contact secondline many times while using this service to resolve the same issue. They never responded to my last email. Customer service is nonexistent and unhelpful. When someone calls me on the secondline app, the caller ID says “secondline contact”, whether or not that contact is saved to my app, or if it’s an unknown number. I have no idea who the caller is before answering. I use this for business and it is completely unreliable. To make it even more annoying to use, sometimes it takes 8 or more attempts for me to listen to a voicemail that was left. The play button is totally unresponsive. It doesn’t matter if I’m connected to WiFi or using my own phone signal. My phone software and app are up to date. The only “solution” presented to me in the last would prevent me from keeping myself as a contact in my regular (non secondline) phone app, which means I can’t use many of the functions that I purchased an iPhone for in the first place. I would cancel this account, but unfortunately there are too many people who contact me using this number, so I am stuck paying $15 a month for a low quality product.

Unfortunately I’ve had this app for years as a business line. It’s always been unreliable but it was cheaper than paying for an actual 2nd phone. Recently it hasn’t been sending my text, notifying me of new text, and the “away message” feature (which is the ENTIRE REASON I got the app) says “unavailable at the moment” when I try to use it. Customer support is no help. It’s almost as if they try to make the issue my fault. They just tell me to redownload the app (like I haven’t already tried that) or that it “should be working”. I now have finally had to get an actual second phone with a real reliable carrier, but we all know it tough to switch numbers when you own a business and everyone has the old one (the reason I stayed with this app so long). Thanks for making my life more difficult, 2nd line. 0 stars. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
