illumine for Parents

My daycare recently switched to illumine, so I had to set up ACH payment in the app. I did not provide the leading zeros and so it did not go through. My bad, but the resolution was poor. They sent no alert indicating a problem with the bank set up. Other vendors use a technique of debiting a few cents to test out the set up, Illumine just continued to flail by sending me three additional invoices to the same bad #. When I attempted to fix the info there there’s no way to edit or view, and if you add a new one, it looks exactly the same as the old one and you can’t be 100% sure that you’re deleting the bad one. Kind of a nightmare, still not fully resolved. The daycare center was also unable to manually fix, on their end everything looked paid. My baseline for service is if I was at a cash register, I would get this resolved immediately and with little hassle. Last, the app has no feedback for the app itself, so I’m leaving feedback here.

Literally the most used thing in the app should be one click button from the main page not two. I don’t need the ID card so just make a second button for that if someone needs it that much. NEED A SINGLE BUTTON SCAN QR, it is used at least two times every day during pick up and drop off.

Great app to review daily activities from afar!
