RipaLip App for fish finders has been very useful. Some say that it simply provides a lot of information that is already on the internet, and to a degree this is true, but the app goes further, allowing you to easily access quick start guides, advanced guides, videos, AND save notes about settings used for different bodies of water. Why rely on google searches when you can have it all in one App. RipaLip owner is very helpful when it comes to any questions regarding products.

I’ve been on this group for less than an hour. Scrolling through all the posts and come across this app. Didn’t even know it existed. I’ve had my Elite 9 for over a year and just trying to muddle my way through the setup. (Never used electronics on my boats). Got the app, paid my $10 and now I know how to set up my unit. THANKS!

This is a fantastic app that has helped save me a lot of time on the water or when I am trying to learn something. All the help menu’s are straight to the point with a good explanation of what all the functions and options are used for. I don’t have to fully remember how to get to certain settings. The paid version really makes tuning my HDS Live units so much easier. Having the ability to save settings for lakes with different wAter clarity and stuff is great. I can now bring up the lake look at the setting for colorline, sensitivity from my last outing when everything was set perfect. It’s basically a digital log of previous settings you have used. Plus I learned you can put in your boat with all the equipment you have on it and it helps with networking and troubleshooting.
