Minn Kota i-Pilot Link

You have an app - great. Why not allow the app to pull over a MIRROR VIEW of my Solix screen that is fixed on a 24’ boats center console. Humminbird has great features but you miss such a simple capability.

This app is useless considering all the things the iPilot Link is supposed to do. It doesn’t integrate with the FishSmart App. It won’t let you create iTracks or perform any of the ‘real’ functions of the gigantic iPilot Link remote. If you have Bluetooth connected between your phone and the trolling motor, your phone will no longer function as a phone. You can make and answer phone calls but you won’t be able to hear each other. I’ve tried suggesting Siri voice control functions and other enhancements but my emails to MinnKota have been ignored. A “thanks for your input” might have been nice but... During the hours I spend on hold with their support people (who are all very nice), I listening to the pre-recorded marketing schpiel telling us how awesome their products are. People who own and use the already know their software offerings are buggy and/or useless.

Paired ok with the motor. You have to keep the pair button pressed until it shows up in phones bluetooth devices list. Updated software in the motor and the remote. Worked well. If the display timed out and locked, seems to cause the software download to fail. Worked great after I changed the display lock time to “never”.
