It’s been several versions but the app developers have still not been able to solve the problem of 2 factor auth. You login with password and the app asks you whether you want to enable biometrics (Face ID). Upon enabling that it never sticks. Every time you log out or get logged out, it never recognizes the saved Face ID but prompts for password and keeps asking you questions on login to enable Face ID again. It’s a joke that this simple engineering problem has not been solved since 2 years now.

The app works very well. I have not faced any issues, crashes etc in the year plus duration I have been using it. The Zerodha platform itself has some complexities which roll over to the app as well. One feature I would love is to divide my portfolio/holdings into multiple, smaller portfolios like core, short term etc. Right now it is a big list which becomes difficult to track once the holdings increase. I would also love ability to set alerts for a group of stocks (watchlist and holdings) instead of having to do one-by-one. Something like alert me of price of any of these goes up by 10%.

Good for investors. Bad for traders. Some stocks not available to buy which are listed on exchange. Strange. Would have appreciated an option to add custom notes or star rating on stocks in watchlist.
