Commune: Life-Changing Courses

The app is just not particularly pleasant to use — mainly because playback doesn’t function very well. Video/audio stops if you turn the screen off. You can kinda work around the issue by going to the Home Screen and then clicking the screen off. Next episodes automatically play. Airplay works but is glitchy - CC shows on phone screen, if you pause the video before finishing, it times out and either restarts or moves on to the next episode. There’s a progress tracker to show what you’ve completed but it isn’t connected with the actual hosting website (which I believe is Kajabi) so if you log in on a web browser there’s no way of seeing what you’ve viewed on the app. The scheduling feature is a great concept, but also requires you to be in a mobile device to use it. Love the courses and these are minor inconveniences, but I find the app and website to be a bit frustrating to navigate and actually find/organize/watch content. Finally, I’ve not used the Apple TV or iPad apps. This is just my experience with an iPhone 15 and MacBook Pro using Safari as the browser.

If I had more time I would I would listen to every single thing on this app. I used to take Schuyler’s incredible, informative, and creative yoga classes in NYC at Kula as a professional dancer and always learned so much every class. Once I discovered her and her husband Jeff’s app, I became obsessed with them! They are smart, innovative, open minded, compassionate, and the people they have on their app are all top notch pros in their respective health fields. They always keep my mind thinking, curious, and informed. I cannot say enough to praise what they are doing and the difference they are making in my life and so many others. One day I hope to join one of their retreats. If you are on the fence about getting this app, do it and you won’t be disappointed. It will improve your overall health! Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

Edit: all fixed and I am loving it! Thank you for such a clean looking and smoothly working app :) My previous review: I was happy to see the app and thought accessing the course I purchased before app was created will be easy and more streamlined. However this app turned totally useless to me. To unlock my course I need to go to website, log in, then go back to the app and only then am able to use it. Even after downloading course in app onto my phone I still get locked out and have to go to website anyways and then back to the app. Very frustrating to have these extra steps added. Plus every time I open the app I get prompted to buy the course I already purchased via web. Wish it was recognized by the app automatically upon logging into the app.
