Learn & Play Flute - tonestro

I love this game, however I don’t like how it asks for your age. I don’t think you need my age to tell my likes and taste. Anyway on a very positive note I recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn how to play the flute. I learned how to play it very well and very quickly too. In my opinion this game has no big flaws besides a little bit of a privacy issue. That DEFINITELY is not the end of the world ESPECIALLY with this game. I love how the selection of songs is pretty wide even without premium. Overall AMAZING game.

Great lessons, content, and learning potential (and the price is comparable to other similar apps which is impressive for how close it gets to in-person lessons), but there are a few fixes needed before it would work well for me: On practice songs (where it’s following your playing and there isn’t background music), I don’t like that the scrolling bar completely skips over rests. Sometimes the screen even scrolls past an entire measure that’s just a rest. I don’t want to just practice pitch in isolation of pacing/rhythm. On the songs with background music, I love the way it’s supposed to work and the selections, but either my internet or phone must be too slow, because it says I’m late on almost every note, and slightly pauses each time (I guess so I can catch up, except I already played it right on tempo), making for a choppy playing experience. I have two other similar apps and neither of them ever have this problem, so I think it can be fixed and would love to enroll in premium (I have the trial right now) once it works!

Though this is a good app when you get to the second note one of the songs includes the first note and I even checked to make sure but it said nothing about this. So i played both notes but it didn’t work so I played just the note that I was learning. But that didn’t work. I only knew two notes and still can’t get more than fifty percent on it. But I think im just misunderstanding it somehow. But I mean before that it was fine but still I found it a bit confusing and I also checked multiple videos on how to hold a flat and The app wasn’t using any of these so it didn’t teach me how to hold it properly which confused me a bit.
