Super fun resort, also very very beautiful view at the top of the mountain, definitely would recommend to anyone who skis or snowboards
I’m not sure what kind of a resort app doesn’t have the snow report as the most important thing on the opening page, but instead, it is embedded in the “snow and weather” button as the third option along the top toolbar, and it is usually halfway through the paragraph of things “like watch out for tree wells” and “should be a fantasy day” which are somewhat an important to people that are trying to find out information about the day. Shouldn’t it just be in big letters/numbers on the front page? Also, on the website, the WebCams are live, but in the app they are still shots that don’t conform to the phone, so you have to manually pan across so see, for example, the Stick of Truth. The only thing I use the app for is to sign up for notifications. Otherwise it is useless. I would to use it more if it provided the right info. Hopefully improvements are coming soon.
Definitely some improvements from the last version, but snow reports and parking status are the two things I check on the regular. Once again I’m uninstalling this because I still need to check the website to get up to date information. It looks like only Chief Joe is used as the reporting source and it’s updated later in the morning than the Targhee website. The developer needs to use the same endpoint as the website or at least scrape the Targhee website when you refresh the app. Currently they are out of sync/sourced differently, so just use the website and avoid this app if you want/need real time information.
