Taxi Insurance by Acorn

My experience with Acorn Insurance has been frustrating. The app is useless as it doesn't allow me to make any changes to my policy, necessitating a call to the office. What's the point of having this app on the App Store if it can't facilitate any actions? Additionally, whilst almost finishing a quote I encountered a quote error where the app crashed, stating that I could only get a quote.

You can’t renew policies online or through the app. Only by calling in the office. Absolutely stupid, my policy ran out and it’s the weekend your offices are closed and there’s no way to call to renew. So now I’m having to make a new quote and pay for that which is going to cost me more !!! Upon attempting to pay for a new policy the app completely failed on me , asking to call into the office. So I’m left without any insurance over the weekend. What are you doing with those millions of pounds of profit ?

This app is currently not operational & there are issues looking into your policy or simply renewing as it used to be, it keeps running into errors and would not populate even if you spend time inputting your details afresh, it still will crash & not yield any positivity. This has been reported about a couple months ago but no changes have been made to rectify this issue.
