Glitter Collages & Art: Glitty

I love this app!! 💯 I love adding the sparkles ✨ to my earring studs and other jewelry. I’ve been too busy using the sparkles ✨ than anything else. If the other features are as great as those, I’m sure I’ll enjoy the app even more. I’ve had this app on my phone for a long time. I’m glad it was still available and I was able to dust it off and use it. I will go over the other features this weekend. If you love sparkles ✨ and glitter as much as I do, run don’t walk to get this app.

This app has only a handful of “textures” to choose from, ranging from standard glitter in numerous colors to choose from, glamorous glitter, marbled textures, nature textures (ex: the galaxy), and a stationary type textures. The feature & options available in this app are basic. You have the freedom to choose the opacity, brush/erase size and it has a blend option that’s more of a pain than it is useful and this could easily be fixed if the app offered instructions or a tutorial. There are a few glitches that are headache worthy. The undo option is flawed. Sometimes it will undo your previous course of action but other times it will go back several steps and undoing that is a pain & sometimes it’s not an option. My biggest complaint about this app is how inconvenient it is to switch colors or textures. Whenever you switch colors or textures, you have to save your work, exit out of the app and go back in the app and select your picture and then you can use a different feature/option. You have to readjust your brush settings and it’s just annoying. It also takes up a lot space in your storage from the multiple pictures being saved every time you need to change a feature or option. Unfortunately, this app happens to be the better of the small selection of similar apps. If the developer(s) fixed the flaws listed, it would be worth recommending.

Very easy to navigate compared to the other crap apps that offer glitter. The brush strokes are definitely better compared to the free versions as the sizes actually show the difference from smaller to larger rather than all looking the same size. If possible, it would be nice if you could add sequence details so it’s not just glitter and the ability to change the coloring depending on the angle of the subject so it gives more depth rather than looking all the same. Also, if you could use different colors after you finish coloring in you can use a new color rather than saving and starting over.
