I have used Milanote for a few years now and I’ve loved it on desktop and find it much more streamlined and intuitive than other similar apps. However, the previous mobile app was absolutely terrible, converting your nearly organized boards into horribly confusing, scrolling messes. It was so bad that I’ve almost unsubscribed multiple times, and I know of other creatives who actually have actually unsubscribed for that reason, because they needed it to function properly on set. The only reason I never unsubscribed is that, when trying those competing apps, they were bloated, unintuitive messes. So I trudged along, continuing to use the service and tried to avoid using the mobile app as much as possible because of how genuinely terrible it was. When I saw this update, I was sooooo excited and relieved. It’s the Milanote I know and love, working incredibly well on mobile. It adds so much value to the user experience, and it helps tremendously when I need to access it on the go. Thank you to Milanote for giving us the app we’ve been begging to have for so long.
I’m about to glaze this app so hard. I’m a huuuge visual person, I cannot construct my thoughts and ideas any other way. Milanote is like a whiteboard but with the best organizing and categorization tools. I am currently a hobbyist writer working on a long-term webnovel project, but in the future I hope to publish it! I’ve loved Milanote since day 1 of using it, it just works with my brain. It is very customizable with the simple few tools it has, and honestly I almost have no complaints. The board system is genius, it feels like apps but for your projects, ideas or whatever else you’re using it for. I love how notes work, and being able to turn them into documents is incredibly helpful if a note gets too long. I’d say the couple complaints I have would be not being able to choose a font size when typing, and there not being additional options to ‘columns’. I’d like to be able to put more images and notes into them sometimes that can go side by side and not straight down, that would be a lovely option to have.
This app is truly amazing!! I heard abt this app from a sponsored YouTuber and it seemed pretty cool so I downloaded it… let me tell u how much better the app is than I thought.. I wanted to use it to make a mood board for my new room and it organizes everything exactly how I imagined it in my head.. u can add pictures u find from the internet (it’s especially helpful if u add milanote as an extension on your browser so that when u click a picture online, it has a link to immediately save it to your board you are working on in the app) after u add the pictures u are able to overlap them and really bring out exactly what u were thinking in your mind.. I’m rlly picky with some things and especially what my room will look like but me just adding a few designs while keeping in mind my color palette, it all came together perfectly.. u also can add little boxes that act as paint samples so you can rlly see the color palette you are going for.. and u can also add arrows to talk abt specifics with your board and other added ideas you would want!!!! It’s truly an amazing app!!! GO GET IT
