Living Legends Uninvited Guest

I wasn't planning on playing this game until I saw the Black Friday sale price of $3.99, courtesy of BF. Boy, do I miss those cheaper prices. Having said that, this game is mostly good. The fantasy-based storyline is clichéd; however, it has some creative elements along with interesting character interaction and dialogue. The graphics are first-rate, with sharp, clear details to showcase the beautifully illustrated visuals. Unfortunately, for me, the gameplay is too easy-peasy, in all facets. The adventure portion of gameplay is very straightforward, devoid of any twists or surprises. The HOSs are lacking in the innovation department, and they comprise mostly traditional word lists with light interaction, although they become more varied towards the end of the game. The puzzles are entertaining but very simple to solve. Gameplay is lengthy, with enough tasks to effect within each location. Transition is seamless. No glitches! This game would have been rated five stars had the gameplay been a little more creative and challenging. However, it is still enjoyable enough to be rated four stars.

Update: I’ve now completed the game and my 5 stars stands! I’d rate it higher if I could. Couldn’t put this game down it was so impressive. It’s been a long time since I’ve done that. I hope you give us another game very soon! Thanks again! I’ve only played about 45 minutes of this game but as I guessed it’s absolutely incredible! I’m overjoyed to see 4friends put out a game on iOS again without BigFish! Omg! I LOVE 4FRIENDS GAMES! you guys are my favorite hands down! I wasn’t sure I’d ever see another one of your games as I strictly play on my iPad, not a computer gamer here. You will NOT be let down by this game folks. It top notch. It’s a perfect blend of puzzles, hidden objects (and it doesn’t kill the game play with a hidden object scene ever 5 steps thank goodness!) and adventure. The artwork and voiceovers are excellent. I have not a single complaint! Thank you so much for giving us this game and pray to see more from you.......I’m actually begging!
