I have enjoyed using this app for years. About a year ago an update messed up ALL my lists and this app has never been the same. Still, I tolerated it. But today, the latest update lost ALL my lists. There is an “unlock everything for 7 days for free” link though. Is that where my lists can be found now? And what happens after 7 days? Then it’s paid now too? $4.99 PER MONTH!!!! For a to-do list app!!! What in the heck is SO wonderful about this app that it deserves that kind of money??? Why a subscription model too??? Is this developer going to provide constant new content as a SUBSCRIPTION should? I seriously doubt it! A to-do list app doesn’t lend itself to that. Clearly, if this app must cost money, it should be a FIXED price! This is absolutely ridiculous! Pure greed and arrogance! This WAS a great app over a year ago. I would have paid a small charge like 2 or 3 dollars for it then because that’s what it WAS worth before the developer ruined it. I’m done now. It’s getting deleted right now! I hope everyone else does the same!
My life has become a series of To Do lists so I was glad to find your app which allows for different categories, but there’s no menu so one is limited to what can be done. What I would like to see is options for subcategories in each category, e.g., sometimes a task requires 3-4 components to get it done. Also, sometimes a task is repetitive every week or every month, so the ability to retain it but check it off with a date associated to it so when you look at it you know, “ok, I already did it for this month, I don’t have to worry about it for another 3 weeks. Also, sometimes a task is ongoing so instead of checking it off, you could have an “In progress “ designation. And finally, the ability to input notes under a task,e.g. some of my tasks are calling people, but you don’t always catch them on the first try, so being able to input “left message on Jan 1” or “will call me back by Friday “, etc. would be helpful. Thank you!
It is simple to use. But it can be a little clunky when trying to reorder your list. For instance, I use it as a shopping list. It’s great for a place like Costco, where I buy a lot of the same things over and over. I have a long list there and like to reorder it every trip, so that I have the things I need that day at the top. When you’re dragging something up from the bottom of a long list, especially, it can get pretty clunky. I have to drag up a page and then grab and drag up another page, etc. And sometimes, if you don’t drag it into place just right, you end up with a double somehow, with one stuck in between. Clearly a glitch. It would be great if you could choose a number for each item, like with a pull-down menu. Or, at minimum, just the ability to send an item to the top of the list would be GREAT.
