Hi, I love the app! Just a couple request- I am unable to sync my exact plan and workouts to my iPad to workout and I’m logged in using the exact iCloud. It creates a completely different workout plan and messes up my streak. 🥺 also could we get a feature to replace each exercise more advanced or beginner options in the plan? Can we get this in the next update pleas 🥺♥️
I've been using this app for a few weeks now. It wasn't my first choice, but it was free so I thought it'll do. First day I had it, I tried setting a reminder to tell me when to work out, but it kept resetting the time, so I turned off the notifications from the app and set a reminder on my Reminders app in my phone instead. Second, there's a pause button at the bottom of the screen, but when I click it to pause, and then again to resume, it always adds extra reps for the exercise that I'm on. Third, the ads. This is definitely the biggest problem I have with the app. At the end of every workout when you click 'done' it brings up an ad that you have to click out of to get to the next screen where you put in your weight so you can keep your progress. But instead of navigating out of the ad, it redirected me to the App Store to purchase whatever game it was that was being advertised. The x button in the corner was too small and wasn't working. I tried exiting out of the fitness app and logging back in, but all it made me do was go through the whole workout again. And then the ad popped up and it was the same problem with the exit button being too far in the corner and too small. So I was never actually able to finish putting in my info for after the workout. This app is fine enough because it's free, and they have an avatar doing the workout with you so you understand exactly what you're supposed to be doing and for how long. That way you can see the motion and understand what part of the body you're supposed to work out. Sometimes pictures or the names of exercises just isn't enough for me to understand what I'm supposed to be doing. That part of the app is helpful, but in the end it just isn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone else because of the glitches, and it's definitely made me more frustrated when working out.
This is a actually a pretty good workout app. So far (I’m on day 4) they have been mostly booty and leg workouts with a few abs and arms mixed in. The workouts are really short even for a beginner level (5 minutes)(or maybe I’m just used to being pushed really hard by coaches). But still, it’s a good start. However I have a few critiques. I think this is about all I’ve noticed so far, other than that it’s a nice app. Easy to figure out and navigate. I also understand that these are simple criticisms and I could easily ignore them and just do my own thing. So don’t attack me :) 1.) you can’t control when your rest days are. Even when you customize how many workouts you want per week. My rest days are all over the place, some fall right next to each other. Even though I’m still doing 5 a week I’d like my rests to be consistent 2.) 5 a week is the highest amount you can schedule. I understand rest is important, but why not 6 a week? 3.) you can’t control the speed of the “avatar” person you follow, which makes the workouts just slow and drawn out, which is good for some, and not so good for others. 4.) this app doesn’t encourage you to push yourself. At some point I was doing up to 10 pushups, 200 crunches, and more because whoever I had with me, encouraged me to push myself. With the pandemic going on I’ve gotten super lazy and have fallen out of that. I looked for something to teach me good workouts to do at home and while this app gave me just that, it’s settling for less. I know I could change the level or whatever but I feel like no matter what level your at you should always strive to do one more than you think you can do. :)
